Congratulations to Manchester City on winning the Champions’ League title, after beating Inter Milan 1-0 in Istanbul.
The result gave manager Pep Guardiola his first title for twelve years, and deprived Italy of a 1-2-3 in cup success. Despite their disappointments, Italian football, despite its current difficulties, is still very popular with fans internationally. Getting their teams in each of this year’s finals is a major achievement, and it won’t be long before they will start to compete in Europe once more.
