Government loses public support in double quick time over riots

It’s taken less than six weeks… but public support for the new Labour government has fallen to record levels.

Opinion polls have seen them slump dramatically, mostly because of the planned cuts to public spending and the way that the current riots have been handled. This video from TLDR News below explains why this is happening.

Normally, when a new government is elected, they often get a honeymoon period, but not this one. Labour were only elected last month on a 33 per cent vote share, and secured fewer votes than when they lost to the Conservatives five years ago.

If this trend continues, this country is in for a tough time. Some commentators strangely predict that there could be a new general election within twelve months.
